Henry (Hank) Teri After retiring from a career in engineering I was able to resume my long neglected hobby of oil and acrylic painting. My specialty is painting from photographs, mostly from my personal travels. The subjects vary widely. I also do paintings on a commission basis from someone else's personal photos. I sketch the photos on paper to the desired scale and then transfer the sketch to the canvas where I begin painting. I try to capture a bit of the art created by mother nature. My paintings are in homes throughout the U.S. from California to Massachusetts. One painting is in a home in Sicily. This gives me the satisfaction of knowing that others are enjoying the art that I have created for them. Since early 2003 I have displayed my paintings at several local area venues including The Kansas City Artists Coalition, The Apex Gallery in the Crossroads District, The Country Club Plaza and Lee's Summit.
