Shows I've participated in: My beginning art exhibits began in 1999-2000, even though I have been painting and drawing peviously.I recieved a "Gold Key Award" in 1976 for being a entry in an exhibit sponsored by Crown Center Hotel when I was 13. In 1999 I submitted work to the Westport Art Fair and have been a participant ever since then. I have done a one-man exhibition at the Grand Gallery in 2001in downtown Kansas City. I've shown work at the Carter Art Center gallery in the Penn Valley Community College and was in the "Dead Man Walking" exhibition. Also through those years I have shown at the "Negro Jazz Museum" on 18th and Vine.I currently have work at the Saint Luke's East hospital corridors. My Art: The paintins I do come from homestyle inspired themes and range from folklore to nationally known musicians or heroes of the past and present. My goals in art: I would like to paint portraits of famous people and become known for it. I want to do a self titled mural and have it shown at a huge gallery. I would like also to be able to set up galleries where art for artist will have chance for display among the cities and other places that art can find its aspiration in the community. acrylic acrylic
