Alicia’s art is vibrantly colored, whimsical, and inspired by the world around her, including a lot of things in nature. She works with alcohol ink on non-porous surfaces including Yupo & Nara paper, Grafix craft plastic, & plexiglass. Using isopropyl alcohol and various tools (blending pen, airbrush, posca pens, toothbrush, straws, mini sprayers and more) she manipulates both liquid ink and alcohol ink markers. She uses an extremely high-resolution scanner and/or a camera to digitize her work, and then makes framed metallic prints, apparel, accessories and home decor. Per Alicia, “My passion is fighting trafficking in a beautiful way, and my art serves that purpose. I donate substantial proceeds to ReHope and Relentless Pursuit Outreach & Recovery, along with hosting “Art & Awareness” events.”
