I began painting again during the global pandemic, after many years of “life getting in the way,” with marriage, family, home, career, community and service organizations. Most of my paintings are taken from photos of family, friends, or beautiful scenes. I have always had a passion for art, and finally found my niche.

As a child, I made my own paper dolls from the cardboard that came with my dad’s newly cleaned dress shirts, and designed all their outfits. Although I was born with a great deal of natural talent, I was a member of the National Art Honor Society in high school, and took art classes in both high school and college. I have been using acrylic but am also adept in oil, and hoping to become better with water color and other mediums..
