Mission

The mission of Summit Art is to encourage and promote artists and the visual arts in Lee’s Summit and the surrounding communities.

Summit Art believes that a diversity of individual expression makes for better art, a better community, and, for Summit Art, a better organization.

We envision a community where there are opportunities for networking, education, exhibitions and recognition for our members and the community.

You can find Summit Art in and around Lee’s Summit. We host rotating fine art exhibits at various businesses, medical centers, and civic and community centers. We often host “pop-up” displays at community events hosted by partner organizations like the Lee’s Summit Symphony, Fourth Fridays Art Walks in Downtown Lee’s Summit, the Kansas City Water Garden Society and more! Classes, workshops and artist meetups are held as locations across Lee’s Summit and beyond.

We are working hard to find a permanent “home” for Summit Art. Learn how you can play a part in helping us reach our goal.
