Fourth Fridays Art Walks
From April to August, Fourth Fridays come alive in Lee’s Summit’s vibrant downtown. The Fourth Fridays Art Walk are fun, family-friendly nights of art, creative events and engaging cultural experiences. Artists set up “pop-up” displays in retail shops and on the sidewalk to showcase unique locally made art and handmade goods.
Fourth Fridays Art Walk is coordinated by Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street and manages event festivities. Summit Art Juried Artists are welcome to apply to join Summit Art at a designated location each Art Walk or can apply for a solo opportunity directly with Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street when artist calls open in early spring.
Lee’s Summit Symphony Performances
Summit Art enjoys partnering with the Lee’s Summit Symphony to provide fine art displays at LSSO season performances. Concert patrons enjoy the opportunity to view and purchase artwork before the performance, during intermission and after the performance.
Aquatic Frolic Water Garden Tours
Every summer, Summit Art partners with the Water Garden Society of Greater Kansas City to provide artist displays during their annual Aquatic Frolic. Artists set up displays at homes participating in the tours.
