Summit Art pop-up exhibit and reception during
Fourth Fridays Art Walk in beautiful downtown Lee’s Summit.
From April through August, Summit Art partners with a downtown Lee’s Summit business to host a pop-up exhibit and reception for Summit Art members interested in showcasing their work during the Fourth Fridays Art Walk.

How to Participate
Registration
Email Summit Art (or click the button above) to register and indicate which months you would like to participate. There is no fee to participate. Registration is open to all active Summit Art members. Limited registrations are available for each date and filled in the order in which requests are received. Apply early!
Not a member of Summit Art?
Consider joining Summit Art and view current membership options to participate specifically in our reception.
Non-members and members have the option of applying for the Art Walk directly through Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street to be considered as a featured artist at one of the many businesses participating in the Art Walk.
Artwork Display
Artists should bring no more than two works of art to display at the Fourth Friday Art Walk reception. Artworks must be available for purchase. Summit Art will provide gridwall panels capable of displaying 2D hanging art. Hanging artwork cannot exceed 24 inches in width. Tables will be provided for displaying 3D artwork and small items.
Seating is very limited. Artists should consider providing their own folding chairs.
Artwork Sales and Payment Processing
Summit Art will process all sales transactions at the Summit Art reception on behalf of artists, including collecting sales tax. Artists receive 70% of the final listed sale price (exclusive of tax) of each piece sold. Summit Art retains a 30% commission fee.

Whether you join Summit Art at one of our receptions or partner up with any number of participating businesses, the Fourth Fridays Art Walks are the go-to summer events in Lee’s Summit and a great way to share your art with the community. Coordinated and hosted by Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, the Fourth Fridays Art Walk features regional artists, live music, fun entertainment, and cultural enrichment activities for the whole family.
Participating artists are promoted through Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street on event maps, social media and signage. Artists who participate in the Summit Art receptions receive additional promotion through Summit Art’s media outlets, including social media, newsletters and e-blasts.
